Joy!!

Being a grandma to this sweet little boy is one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m so thankful for the sunshine he brings to our family! I sure love you, little man!!

 Such a great weekend at the Red Rock Invitational! Fantastic wins over Dixie, Timpanogos, Spanish Fork, and Bingham So excited for the season!! Also pretty cool to be able to play with two cousins!

Vaughn J Lewis, 71, of American Fork passed away after enduring a long fight with health challenges on December 19, 2020 at his home. He was surrounded by his loving family. Vaughn was born September 22, 1949 in American Fork to Kenneth Lewis and Greta Lewis

Vaughn grew up in American Fork. He attended and graduated from American Fork High School. He loved sports and played football for the Cavemen. While in high school he met Bonnie Jean Young, his sweetheart and best friend. They were married September 27, 1968 in American Fork. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After high school, Vaughn enlisted in the Utah Army National Guard and served for seven years. Vaughn spent the majority of his working career in insurance and securities. His priority in life was his family. Vaughn enjoyed spending time with them camping, hunting, travelling, and watching his children and grandchildren play ball and dance. He is survived by his wife Bonnie of American Fork; five children: Christopher Lewis, Kevin J (Tina) Lewis, Scott (Katherine) Lewis, Rebecca (Rob) Schow and Michelle (Todd) Trane; 19 grandchildren, a great-grandson and three brothers: Mark(Sherrie) Lewis, Robert (Janet) Lewis and Ronald (Diane) Lewis. Two half sisters: Megan Hofheins and Aimee Lewis Step sisters: Jan (Rob) Read, Sharlyn (Raymond) Morton and MarNae Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 9:30-11:45 am at the American Fork Twelfth Ward Building, 673 East 300 North, American Fork. Due to current circumstances, private family services will be held at the church at 12:00 noon. Interment will be in the American Fork City Cemetery.
