First Day of School!!

Camping

Don't be too shocked, but we went camping this summer!!  The ROI boys had a hunt, and invited all of the families to join them.  It was a fun couple of days!

End of Summer Adventure

We finally got to the Provo River at the very end of the summer...what a day it was!  We had a blast until I tried to save Tate and Gage from impending doom (floating into some sharp reeds on the side of the river) and was pulled forward by the current.  It sliced a pretty good chunk out of my leg.  Luckily, the water was cold and it kept the swelling down, but boy-oh-boy did it bleed!!  The kids had a blast!

A Few Random Things

We had a fun few days supporting Bailee in her soccer tournament, visiting with Arizona friends, and getting fun email photos from Tanner. 

Triple Crown World Series

Tate has had so much fun with this new team, The Clutch!  They got to participate in the Triple Crown World Series in Park City, which was SUPER cool!  There were so many teams, and very good competition!  It was a lot of fun!  Tate participated in the "Throwing Accuracy Contest".  There were 81 contestants and he got THIRD PLACE!!!  Great job, TATE!!

Visit From Friends

We loved having the Nikolaus Family here to visit for an evening!  We have missed them like crazy!!

4th of July and No More Braces!!!

Well, this 4th of July was pretty low-key...Tate had a tournament, but they played really bad and didn't make it to the last day--and crazy enough, I don't have a single picture of it.  Aaaannyywayyyyy,  the fireworks were great.  The company was great. The traffic to get home wasn't great.

 

This handsome boy got his braces off on July 6th!!  Wow!  What a journey it's been!

Summer League

It STINKS to lose to the Devils in the Summer Championship game...

Arizona Tourney

After we dropped Tanner off at the MTC, Kevin took me to the airport to go down to Arizona to join Ty at his tournament.  

Worst/Best

June 24 has to be, to this point, one of the WORST BEST days of my life!  It was heart wrenching to drop my firstborn off, knowing that I was sending him into the great unknown--where I wouldn't be allowed to talk to him or see him (in person) for 2 years.  Driving away from the MTC was excruciating, but exciting at the same.  I will miss him like crazy.  

Ty had to go to Phoenix to play in a baseball tournament with the Mountain West Baseball team, so he wasn't with us.  That was weird, too.
