Happy Birthday Ciara!!

 A few weeks ago Ciara posted this photo and I immediately took a screen shot of it. She’s so beautiful…of course it’s obvious on the outside, but what you can’t see from a photo is the beauty in her heart and mind. She is kind and thoughtful, fair and patient. She is smart, tenacious, and competitive. She is reflective and perceptive, creative and decisive. She is a compassionate and loving mom to Brooks and Navy and the most devoted and caring companion for Tanner. I adore this sweet daughter of mine and am so happy she was born. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CIARA!! I love you!

Spring Break 2023

 This past week was spent with Kevin and the high school baseball team in California, followed by a really quick 36 hours in Arizona watching Tate. On this Easter Sunday I’m feeling especially grateful for a loving Savior, who died and was resurrected, making it possible for me to live again and be with my family eternally. Happy Easter!

Grandma Young

 Today we’re going to celebrate the life of Kevin’s grandma. I loved her from the minute I met her and will miss her very much. She was feisty and spicy and you never knew what she was going to say. I know she made me blush a few times!! As much as we’ll all miss her, I am so happy she’s with Grandpa Young-they were everything to each other and I know she was lonely here without him. Rest in peace Grandma. We love you!

Let's Go Yotes!!

 There’s nothing I love more than watching my boys doing what they love!! It was so fun to go to Arizona for a few days to watch Tate start his college freshman season with the Chandler-Gilbert Coyotes. He had a great week and I’m so excited to see him reach and exceed his goals both academically and athletically this year. Keep grinding Tate!! It’s going to be a great season!!

Merry Christmas!!

 Christmas is extra sweet this year with the addition of Navy May, born December 16th. We are all in love! Brooks is 2 and is pure JOY and ENERGY and SUNSHINE and I can’t imagine our lives without him in it!! Tanner & Ciara are wonderful parents and I’m thankful they live close by and that we can see them often. It’s been so great having Treyson and Ty here as they work/go to school, and I’m super happy to have Tate home from college in AZ during his winter break. For me, having my family around is the greatest gift I could ask for.

Oh, and for the second year in a row, Ciara absolutely slays at gift giving—personalized cups to keep me from losing my mind over the ridiculous number of cups that would be on my counter at any given time.
